As part of a long-term partnership with real estate specialists Brookhouse Group, Osprey Charging have brought rapid charging to customers of major retail brands such as M&S, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Argos, Next and Aldi. Brookhouse Group's portfolio offers an ideal environment and dwell time to charge whilst shopping, and Osprey have a track record of reliable hub installations in these types of car park. Osprey covered all costs associated with installing the rapid charge points and now operates them to the highest quality of customer service.

In partnership with Brookhouse Group, Osprey have added charging facilities to 10 major retail parks across the UK, totalling 58 rapid and ultra-rapid charge points.

In the past year, five of the locations have now been expanded to larger hubs to meet high customer demand, and illustrating Brookhouse’s continued trust in Osprey to deliver reliable, future-proofed charging infrastructure.

Brookhouse Group's large portfolio of sites and major retail tenants are perfect for rapid charge points, with locations boasting supermarkets such as M&S Food and ASDA, and cafes and quick-serve restaurants such as Starbucks and McDonald's complementing the on-site shopping. The dwell time at these locations fits an average rapid charging session of 20-40 minutes.

The chargers are compatible with every EV on the market today and provide 100 miles of charge in as little as 20-30 minutes (depending on the battery). This means that during the average 40-60-minute shopping trip to centres such as those owned by Brookhouse, customers can expect to add over 200 miles of range.

By offering on-site rapid EV charging services at ten of its sites Brookhouse is supporting the growing number of EV driver visitors, enhancing value for its tenants and future proofing its assets, as well as bringing an added incentive for customers to choose its sites.
