Osprey Ranked 10th in The Sunday Times 100 Tech 2026

We've been named one of the UK’s fastest-growing tech companies, securing an incredible 10th place in the 2026 edition of The Sunday Times 100 Tech.

The list celebrates Britain’s private technology companies that are growing fastest, highlighting organisations that combine innovation, scale, and commercial success. This recognition shows just how much our proprietary software platform, Osprey Iris, is driving growth and shaping the future of EV charging across the UK.

The tech driving growth: Osprey Iris

At the heart of our success is Osprey Iris, our proprietary, in-house software platform. Iris quietly powers everything we do as we build and run our nationwide network of 1,500+ super-fast chargers across the UK, from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

But far more than a charge point management system, the Osprey Iris platform is the basis of operational excellence, commercial insight and customer propositions - from detailed data on all aspects of charging, to enabling payment integrations, ever-more dynamic pricing, and remote fault and threat detection and deterrence.

By building Iris in-house, doubling our tech team in just the past year, we have full ownership of the brains behind our network. This approach gives us control, resilience, and the ability to scale confidently while continuing to define and deliver a reliable, seamless experience for customers.

Growth that speaks for itself

Being recognised in The Sunday Times 100 Tech highlights more than the ability to develop technology- it’s a celebration of sustainable, well-managed growth. To make the list, companies must be independent, UK-based, sell or rely on proprietary technology central to their business, and demonstrate strong financial performance.

Landing 10th in the UK is a major achievement for Osprey, with our market-leading 158.22% compound annual growth rate over the past three years evidencing the commercial success of our public charging network and the financial strength behind our rapid expansion.

As we look to the next chapter, we're confident that Osprey Iris and the high-quality sites and customer excellence we've built around it will lead to long-term, sustainable growth.

Behind the scenes: people, technology, and innovation

Of course, Osprey Iris is only as successful as what the people behind the platform do with it. Our engineers, operators, and problem-solvers work to refine, improve, and scale our technology, as well as turn its data and insights into operational and customer improvements. Their commitment ensures Iris continues to evolve, supporting the next phase of EV adoption and maintaining the high standards that make Osprey the first-choice CPO for both drivers and partners.

Looking ahead

Being recognised in The Sunday Times 100 Tech is a huge achievement, but it’s also a reminder of the work ahead. At Osprey, we’re continuing our investment in technology, people, and network expansion- always with the goal of delivering high-quality, reliable, seamless, and innovative EV charging experiences that push the boundaries and set the standard in the market.

We extend our gratitude to our team, partners, and everyone charging with Osprey. Here’s to scaling even further, continuing to innovate, and growing our position as the UK’s first-choice CPO.
