A new ultra-rapid EV charging hub has opened at Clenchwarton Road Farm Shop in King’s Lynn, improving access to public charging for local residents, businesses and visitors travelling through the area. The site forms part of Osprey Charging’s growing UK-wide network of high-power charge points.

The hub features eight ultra-rapid chargers, each capable of delivering around 100 miles of range in as little as 15–20 minutes, depending on vehicle type and battery level. Designed to make charging straightforward, the 300kW charge points accept contactless card payments as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. All chargers are fully compatible with every electric vehicle currently available in the UK.

The location was selected for its strong roadside position close to the A47, a key route linking Norwich, Wisbech and Peterborough. This makes the site a convenient stop for drivers travelling across Norfolk, as well as those visiting the farm shop or passing through the area as part of longer journeys.

The charge points have been designed with ease of use in mind, offering accessible parking layouts and support from a free 24/7 customer helpline. Business and fleet drivers are also catered for, with digital receipts available via the Osprey app and acceptance of all major third-party payment methods, including fleet cards. The site is powered by Osprey Iris, the company’s in-house software platform, which supports high levels of reliability and seamless EV roaming. Osprey is a multi-award-winning operator and has been recognised as a Zap-Map Driver Recommended Network for five consecutive years.

The new King’s Lynn hub represents a further investment in Osprey Charging’s rollout of public ultra-rapid charging infrastructure in strategically important locations across the UK. With more than 1,400 charging bays now live nationwide, the network continues to support drivers making the switch to electric by providing reliable, accessible charging wherever they travel.

As the UK’s shift to electric mobility gathers pace, it’s vital that drivers have access to charging they can rely on. With more than 1,400 bays now in operation across the country, each designed around ease of use and dependable performance, this new site in Norfolk is a valuable addition to the wider charging network.
