Osprey Charging, the UK’s leading EV rapid-charging network, has improved access to public EV charging in Northumberland, adding two new high-powered EV chargers to their existing site at Tyneview Retail Park in Prudhoe, and supporting local residents, businesses and visitors with reliable EV infrastructure.
Osprey operate eight public charging locations in the North West, totalling 24 super-fast charge points. Upgrading locations to meet growing driver demand is an important part of Osprey’s roll-out of public charging infrastructure in Northumberland.
These new charge points can add up to 100 miles of range in just 15-20 minutes depending on the model of the vehicle and its battery. Located next to Greggs and McDonalds it’s an ideal place to charge an EV whilst enjoying a quick bite to eat.

Osprey has funded this installation and operates and maintains the chargers. Northumberland Estates, the landlord for the site, benefits from a future-proofed car park and being able to attract more EV drivers as customers.
