Osprey's World Earth Day Challenge
At Osprey, our commitment to sustainability goes far beyond powering electric vehicles. Guided by our ethos of "People. Places. Planet.", the Osprey team are celebrating World Earth Day together by making environmentally friendly changes throughout the week (21st - 27th April).
We have challenged ourselves to make some sustainable swaps to celebrate Earth Day all week, including going paper-free, avoiding single use plastics, or eating plant-based for the day in order to reduce waste and cut our energy consumption.
We're all about creating a culture that champions sustainability in every sense. By embedding eco-conscious habits into our everyday actions, we’re building a workplace culture that supports the planet and inspires others to do the same.
How the Osprey network centres sustainability

Osprey charging hubs incorporate green spaces and are constructed to mitigate the impact on the landscape using permeable surfaces and biodiversity-friendly practices. Our charging stations are built using recyclable materials and feature efficient cooling systems that minimise energy consumption.
Beyond our charging stations, we actively support local biodiversity projects. We work with councils and environmental groups to integrate pollinator-friendly planting schemes and other green initiatives at our sites.
Accelerating EV Adoption
By providing fast, accessible, and reliable charging solutions for all drivers, we are removing key barriers to EV adoption and are committed to making the environmental benefits of electric vehicles clear, such as the reduced carbon footprint, to reinforce the positive impact of our charging network.
In 2024, the Osprey Charging network supported the net zero transition by saving over 18.2 million kilograms of CO₂ emissions.
